Xoriant Intranet - Xornet

We created a design system in Figma to unify and scale the visual language across multiple projects in my portfolio. The system includes design tokens (colors, typography, spacing), reusable component libraries (buttons, forms, cards, navigation), and documented patterns for layout and interaction.

The primary challenge was the lack of a unified design framework, which resulted in inconsistent UI patterns, duplicated components, and uneven visual styles across multiple projects. Designers were recreating basic elements from scratch, and developers lacked a reliable reference for implementation.

The design system successfully created a unified visual language and became the single source of truth for all product teams. Designers could now build interfaces faster using reusable components, while developers had consistent, production-ready guidelines. This resulted in: 1. 60–70% faster design workflow due to ready-made components 2. Improved UI consistency across all screens and features 3. Reduced rework and duplication in both design and development 4. Stronger brand identity through standardized colors, typography, and spacing 5. Easier onboarding for new designers and engineers 6. A scalable foundation that supports future product growth and iteration
